Motorola Droid Razr Review
I just got the Motorola Droid Razr today. Made a switch from my old iphone. The Razr is definitely more intimidating to use than an iphone but I am very excited to get it all set up and looking forward to using it for all that it offers. I haven’t exactly gotten it all customized to my liking yet. After only a few hours of use, I have to say that it puts my old iphone to shame and makes it seem ancient (which it was). The Razr did come with a hefty price tag though at $299.
This Razr is ultra thin and offers the following:
- Thinnest 4g LTE smartphone
- Uses a 1.2ghz dual core processor
- 16gb memory
- HDMI mirror mode
- 8 mp camera
If you are making a switch from a iphone, this will definitely require some getting used to but I definitely think it is worth it. If you are making a switch to 4g for the first time, you will love the speed!
Apps I have already downloaded:
- Netflix because I am a TV fanatic
- Bejeweled 2 because I like competing with my Facebook friends
- WeRewards because I like getting paid to eat and shop (read more here)

I made the switch from an older Droid, and the speed difference is amazing! I definitely agree with you, LTE is awesome! I downloaded a lot of apps, but my favorites were the Angry Birds and DISH Remote Access apps. Everyone knows what Angry Birds is, but the DISH Remote Access app lets me stream live TV and recorded shows from my Sling Adapter connected receiver to my phone anywhere I am! LTE definitely comes in handy for that! I’ve had a lot of time to use the apps on other phones, but now that I can use LTE with the majority of them, it makes them a lot faster! From my experience working for and subscribing to DISH, I would say that the DISH Remote Access app would be my favorite app out of them all! This is definitely one of the best phones you can get!

Thanks Riley! I am loving my phone more and more. My brother decided he wanted to save the extra $100 bucks to get the Bionic instead. Comparing his to mine, just makes him realize that the $100 difference is definitely worth it. His Bionic really is just as good though and does all the same stuff except the image quality on my Razr is 100 times better. It really puts his to shame when you place it side by side. Like you, he and I both watch a lot of video on our phone so the image quality definitely makes a big difference to us. So now he is going to go back in to exchange his for the Razr – Verizon charges a $35 restocking fee on exchanges/returns.
